For Help with Meaningful Use

The Hawaii-Pacific HIT Regional Extension Center (HITREC) Team will help providers to select EHRs. The University of Hawaii Telecommunications and Social Informatics (TASI) program is a subcontractor to the HHIE to assist with the Pacific region.  UH TASI does not involve itself in the vendor selection since the UH is also supporting the implementation of the RPMS at several sites.  The HHIE will assist a Provider with vendor selection options.

Once a provider has made a decision, the UH Pacific HITREC Team will help an EP to analyze workflows and work with the EP develop plans and implement the EHR to achieve meaningful use. If you have not signed up for the HITREC support, please do so by sending an email message to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The support by the UH in the Pacific is at no cost to the EP in the CNMI.
